我厂是1974年8月成立的小型商办机械制造企业,1976年以后主要从事小型冷冻机械制造及冷库安装。党的十一届三中全会以后,针对厂的实际情况因地制宜进行改革,打破了大锅饭,铁饭碗,推行经济责任制,完善企业管理制度,加强质量管理,改变供销体制及加强售后服务工作。几年来,通过改革,改出了效益,改变了厂貌,工厂有了生机,职工尝到了甜头。仅以1986年为例,完成产值60万元,实现利润8.5万元.1987年1~9月份完成产值69.5万元,实现利润9.25万元、上缴税金10万元。产品品种由原来的单一品种发展为两大系列13个品种及一些非标产品,产品返修率由原来的3.9%下降为3.3%。如此大的变化,主要是在改革中抓了以下几个方面的工作:
