原全国政协委员、军委铁道兵副政治委员郭延林,是13岁参加赣西农民起义的红军老战士。在他70余年革命生涯中,有40多年是指挥部队抢修、抢建铁路,是一位功勋卓著的铁道卫士。
Guo Yanlin, former CPPCC member and deputy political commissar of the China Railway Corps, is a 13-year-old veteran of the Red Army participating in the peasant uprising in western Jiangxi. In his more than 70 years of revolutionary career, more than 40 years have been the command troops repairing and building the railway. He is an accomplished rail guard.
