郑欣淼先生于2002年10月受任文化部副部长兼故宫博物院院长,在此后的十年中,全面主持故宫博物院各项事务。他以其严谨和执着典守故宫十载,完成了十年古建修缮和七年文物清理两项重大工程,奠定了新世纪故宫博物院发展的坚实基础。他还建立了国际博物馆之间战略性和模式化的合作关系,打开了两岸故宫之间交往的格局,开创了故宫博物院发展的新局面。本文对郑欣淼先生在故宫博物院十年的工作做了细致的梳理和记述,这为后继者提供了宝贵的经验和借鉴。
In October 2002, Mr. Zheng Xinmiao was appointed as Deputy Minister of Culture and Director of the National Palace Museum. In the following ten years, he presided over all aspects of the affairs of the National Palace Museum. With his rigorous and dedicated Code of the Forbidden City for ten years, he completed two major projects of ancient ten-year restoration and seven-year relic removal, laying a solid foundation for the development of the National Palace Museum in the new century. He also established a strategic and modest cooperative relationship among international museums, opened the pattern of exchanges between the Forbidden City on both sides of the Strait and created a new situation in the development of the National Palace Museum. In this paper, Mr.Chen Xinmiao made a careful review and account of ten years of work in the Palace Museum, which provided valuable experience and reference for successors.
