Objective To investigate the chest CT scan parameters and control the dose of X-ray radiation. Methods Thirty cases were randomly selected from our department for chest CT. The body mass index was below average (23.09 for males and 19.86 for females), and low-dose (20 mAs) scans were performed. The images were blindly reviewed by two experienced physicians ’S interpretation of low-dose and its own conventional dose (100 mAs) scan the image of the left upper pulmonary vascular resolution, the image is divided into “good ”, “general ”, “poor ” three. Results ① The images of low-dose scan were 59 in “good”, 1 in “normal”, and no in “poor” in images, all of them were in accordance with the diagnostic requirements; ② CT dose index ) Averaged 5.89 mGy, with an average of 1.22 mGy for low-dose CTDIvol and a low-dose scan of about 1/5 of the normal dose. Conclusions When the body mass index is below the middle level, the chest CT scan can meet the diagnostic requirements for low-dose scanning images. The dose of low-dose scanning is only 1/5 of the conventional dose scanning.
