The current definitions of philosophical values are all basically constructed in accordance with the “subject-object” model. The debate about the definition of value generally revolves around the issue of subject or object. However, the root of the divergence of value definition lies not in the “subject-object” model itself, but in the specific way of thinking people adopt in this model. Value can neither exist in a single subject or object, but also inseparable from the subject and object, specifically, the value exists in the consistency of the subject and object formed by the practice of relations. Value is the practice of meeting the needs of the subject. The essence of value is the practicality, which is the unification of the objectification of the subjective power and the objectification of the objectivity of the object.
