在“五四”新文学运动的成功中,西方文论的引入最为功不可没。西方文论“现代性”观念的引入和大量西方作品、文学理论的译介给中国新文学运动注入了新鲜因子和新活力,使得它没有像以前的文学革新运动一样昙花一现般地迅速衰落下去。其次,就新文学后来的发展状况而言,西方文论不仅常常被人们借鉴,还以融合的姿态进入到了广大学者的思想和理论体系中,创造了中、西文论结合的全新局面。
In the success of the “May 4th” New Literature Movement, the introduction of western literary theory was the most important part. The introduction of western literary theory and the concept of “modernity” and the introduction and translation of a large number of Western works and literary theories have infused fresh elements and new vitality into the Chinese new literature movement so that it has not declined rapidly in the pan like the previous literary reform movement Go down. Second, with regard to the later development of new literature, the western literary theory has not only been commonly used by people, but also merged into the ideological and theoretical system of scholars to create a brand new situation in which Chinese and Western literary theories are combined.
