通过全面梳理叙事时间策略,探讨叙事时间对生成《百舌鸟之死》哥特主题意蕴的效果。根据叙事学相关理论,分别概述叙事时间策略中的时序、时距和频率的概念和作用,阐述其在作品中的应用和体现,最后总结出叙事时间策略对突显小说哥特主题意蕴的意义。
Through comprehensively combing the strategy of narrative time, this paper explores the effect of narrative time on the gothic theme of “death of a hundred dead birds”. According to the related theory of narratology, this chapter summarizes the concepts and functions of time series, time series and frequency in narrative time strategy respectively, expounds its application and expression in works, and finally concludes the significance of narrative time strategy to highlight the theme meaning of novel Gothic.
