In the 21st century, the knowledge economy will become the main economy. The core of the development of the knowledge economy lies in innovation. Innovation determines the comprehensive national strength and competitiveness of a nation and a nation. Innovation is the soul of a nation’s progress. Innovation is an inexhaustible motive force for the prosperity of a country. Innovation is based on education. According to the requirements of the times and the development of education, education in the 21st century must establish the concept of innovative education. Students are the main aspects of teaching and learning. The implementation of any education methods and the manifestation of educational achievements must be demonstrated through the active and active participation of students. However, from where to start school education to cultivate students’ innovative spirit and practical ability, how to cultivate students’ innovative spirit and practical ability is a matter of great confusion for many educators, and it is also a clue in the knowledge economy in today’s world. Under the circumstances, China’s basic education must seriously face and actively study the problems it solves. Combining years of teaching accumulation, the author believes that innovation education should choose to cultivate students’ problem awareness because all innovations and all inventions originate from problems and finally problems. Consciousness of questions not only reflects the active and profound nature of student thinking, but also reflects the independence and creativity of students’ thinking. In biology teaching, students should be taught to actively look for problems, find problems, think about problems, analyze problems, explore problems, and solve problems.
