现代社会,随着互联网的不断发展,世界正变得越来越小,国家与国家之间的交往频率变得越来越快。英语,作为在国际交流中被普遍使用的语言之一,在人与人的交流过程中起到了沟通两个国家的作用。由此,能够灵活地使用英语这门语言,己成为各国公民必备的能力之一。在中国,高中在漫漫学习生涯中具有不可忽视的地位,但是英语的教学过程更多的重视教材和课堂教学两个方面的教学,对于英语课堂之外的学习和广泛的阅读名著的重视度仍旧不够,其阅读材料的来源比较狭隘。然而,英语语言的学习并不仅仅是课堂教学所能够完完全全涵盖的,因此,培养原著阅读的习惯是现阶段高中英语学习必要且有效的途径之一。
