←去年12月,美国密歇根州的医生们开始了一项新的尝试,修复受损的神经以治疗疾病。这次手术邀请了来自中国华中科技大学的肖传国教授。虽然这项手术并不能帮助病人恢复行走能力,但它有机会使病人的大脑重新“接管”膀胱的控制权,减少膀胱被感染的可能以及危及生命的肾损伤发生率。图为肖传国教授(左)在威廉博蒙特医院进行手术。
← Last December, doctors in Michigan, the United States, began a new attempt to repair damaged nerves to treat diseases. The surgery invited Professor Xiao Chuanguo from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. Although this procedure does not help the patient to recover his walking ability, it will have the opportunity to re-occupy the patient’s brain to take control of the bladder, reduce the possibility of bladder infection and the incidence of life-threatening kidney injury.
