一直对朱屺瞻的艺术觉得好奇。觉得这位年过百岁的老先生不仅年岁为画坛之最,画风也很奇特,但一直也没弄清楚这种风格形成的原因。老画家一生低调,后来又没在著名高校任教,没有大群的学生可以捧场,名声也不如林风眠、徐悲鸿、刘海粟。但总觉得这位老画家与他们都不一样。至少,画确实是很不一样的。借着朱屺瞻诞辰120周年的事由,也对老画家的艺术作一番初步的了解。朱屺瞻出道其实是很早的。因朱屺瞻出生太早(1892年),他甚至比徐悲鸿(1895年出生)大3岁,比刘海粟(1896年出生)大4岁,比林风眠(1900年出生)大8岁。在刘海粟办上海图画美术院时,朱屺瞻先当学生紧接着就当了
