The second China International Press Photo Contest (Walsall) was held in Shenzhen from March 20 to 24, 2006. The eternal theme of China's international photojournalism competition is “Peace and Development”. There are 16 awards in 8 categories in this competition. Each award is divided into one gold and silver bronze awards and five outstanding awards, in addition to the annual best news photo award.
