In January 1999, three of our students participated in the “Global Business Plan Competition Forum” held at the National University of Singapore under the leadership of Professor Chen Xiao Yue of the Institute of Management. The conference was co-organized by the National University of Singapore and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with Venture Singapore, the Economic Development Board of Singapore and the National Science and Technology Commission of Singapore to finance the conference. Participating colleges and universities have my school, the United States Massachusetts Institute of Technology, National University of Singapore, Taiwan University of Political Science, Waseda University, Japan, South Korea
