Double root canine is rare. Since 1975, only 5 cases have been reported. The etiology is not yet clear, probably due to in-growth fusion of the tissue originating from the root sheath of Hirschsprung's epithelium. This article describes a case of maxillary double root canine, and a brief review of previously reported cases. A 5-year-old black boy, oral examination, complete dentition, carious lesions. X-ray examination revealed bilateral maxillary double root canine, no caries on the adjacent surface. His 10-year-old brother for oral and radiographic examination, no exception. The case and double root canals reported in the past see Schedule. Of the 6 cases, 3 boys, 3 girls, 4 blacks and 1 white and the other did not report race. In 5 cases, bilateral double root canines only found in the upper arch. Only one case of bifidus occurs in the upper and mandibular arch.
