西北地区水资源短缺据测算,西北地区多年平均降雨量235毫米,年均降水总量为6965.3亿立方米,占全国的11.7%。地表水和地下水分别为1874.5亿立方米/年和1146.0亿立方米/年,扣除重复计算量后的水资源总量为1979.3亿立方米/年,占全国的7%,是西南地区的18.2%、中部地区的28.56%和东部地区的35.71%。西北地区不仅水资源总量小,产水模数更低。平均年产水模数为6.4万立方米/平方公里,为全国平均数的21.8%,是西南地区的14.83%、东部地区的16.28%、中部地区的27.49%,这个指标在一定程度上表明了西北地区水资源短缺的特征。据调查,西北地区并不存在严重浪费水资源的现象。而关于西北地区
Water Shortage in Northwest China According to estimates, the average annual rainfall in Northwest China is 235 mm, with an average annual rainfall of 696.53 billion cubic meters, accounting for 11.7% of the national total.
