此文是王成发同志在身残病重之时,以顽强的毅力为中国生理科学会第三届全国营养学术会议及营养学会成立大会撰写并委托顾景范同志代为宣读的一篇学术报告。 王成发教授是我国著名的老一辈营养学家,曾任军事医学科学院军队卫生研究所所长、研究员。他长期从事营养科学研究工作,为解决我国我军的营养问题作出了贡献。他热爱党的科学事业,为人正直,在十年内乱期间,遭到林彪、“四人帮”反革命集团的迫害,中风瘫痪,以至半身不遂。最近又患白内障,已双目失明。但他始终热爱和关心我国的营养研究工作,获悉第三届全国营养学术会议召开和营养学报复刊的消息,心情无比激动,在口不能讲话,眼不能辨字的严重困难情况下,用手摸索着写作,在别人的帮助下,终于完成了这篇学术报告。 值此营养学报复刊之际,选刊王成发同志的报告,不仅是希望大家学习这篇报告的内容,更重要的是希望营养工作者学习王成发教授献身科学的革命精神,把我国营养科学研究推向新的水平。

He was informed of the news of the Third National Nutrition Academic Conference and the Journal of Nutrition that he was very excited. On the occasion of this Journal of Nutrition, the selection of comrades Wang Chengfa’s report not only hoped everyone would learn the contents of this report but more importantly hoped that nutritionists would learn from Professor Wang Chengfa’s devotion to the revolutionary spirit of science and to push our nutrition science research to the new s level.
