Halliday的语域理论可以应用于翻译领域。本文从语域的三个变量——语场,语旨和语式出发,探讨了语域理论在翻译中的应用,指出翻译时应尽量做到译文和原文在语域上的对应。
Halliday’s register theory can be applied to the field of translation. This paper discusses the application of register theory in translation from the three variables of discourse - field, language and language, and points out that correspondence between the translation and the original should be made as far as possible in translation.
