The major social changes in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period made the allegory boarded the historical stage of literature development as a brand new literary form. Most of the fables in the pre-Qin period were displayed in the proses of the princes with ingenious associations or philosophical and informative dark satirical essays in order to enhance the vividness of language and strengthen the persuasive power of thinking. Looking at the fables of the pre-Qin period, we can find that the most representative images of Song people are often presented in front of the readers with stupid, rigid, or reckless, or ridiculous bad images, and sometimes even “ Mentally handicapped ”to describe. The reason for this is not unrelated to the Song Dynasty’s political status in the vassal states and the geographical environment in which it is located.
