China is an ancient civilization with a long history. Therefore, intangible cultural heritage contains unique thinking mode, cultural connotation and spiritual value for thousands of years, which is also an important basis to reflect China’s sovereignty and cultural identity. The protection of intangible cultural heritage is not only an important prerequisite for the country and nation to achieve sustainable development, but also an important way of cultural inheritance in China. So how to do a good job in the protection of intangible cultural heritage has become an urgent problem to be solved.
I. important features of intangible culture
Different from material culture, intangible cultural heritage is intangible cultural heritage that exists in a dynamic way, which is handed down by people from generation to generation, through word of mouth or by heart. It not only contains the wisdom and rich cultural elements of the whole nation, but also has the life memory of the whole nation. Non-material culture and non-material culture have the following three characteristics in the long development process :(1) sustainability. The persistence of intangible cultural heritage means that it is in a sustainable and dynamic state and does not exist in a static way. From birth to perfection to innovation and constitute a sound cultural system. (2) naturalness. The natural feature of intangible cultural heritage mainly emphasizes that intangible culture grows under the natural environment, so it is vulnerable to external influences and changes and innovations, and it can reflect the environmental characteristics at that time when it is perfected. (3) inheritance. The important core of intangible cultural inheritance is formed by form and connotation. An important way to inherit intangible cultural heritage is to pass down connotation and technical form by means of countless generations according to convention and abiding by rules and regulations. Ⅱ.Significance of intangible cultural heritage protection
2.1 Profound historical significance
“Abandoning tradition means giving up one’s spiritual lifeline,” xi stressed at an important meeting. Intangible culture, as a kind of intangible and exclusive historical and cultural memory, has already been integrated into our blood vessels. For a country or a nation, the most direct and effective way to reflect its ancient civilization is the intangible cultural heritage with obvious marks and clear records. Everyone loves his country and nation, but if he does not have a deep understanding of his country and nation’s history, he can only pass through these intangible cultural heritages. Compared with the material cultural heritage, the intangible cultural heritage is highly original and authentic, while the material heritage often changes with the change of time. The existence of these variability reduces the credibility and cannot fully represent the history. Therefore, to protect the intangible cultural heritage is to protect the unique history of our nation, that is, to protect our cultural heritage.
2.2 inheriting the concept of passing on from generation to generation, modern apprenticeship inherits the craft
Intangible cultural heritage not only reflects the creative spirit and cultural tension of the whole country and nation, but also reflects the unique production mode and folk culture, which also reflects people’s pursuit of a better life at that time. The rapid development of modern culture is inseparable from the strong support of traditional culture. From the perspective of development, modern national culture is the sublation and development of traditional culture, and our entire civilization process is also in this sublation and recycling process forward courageously. In terms of the paper-cutting culture in China, zhao meiling from XX region, liu jinglan from XX and jian jun from XX region, etc. Although the paper-cutting techniques and content of these non-material cultural inheritors have their own characteristics, they all face the same problem -- inheritance. Due to the influence of current market economy and foreign culture, many young people do not pay attention to such traditional culture, and paper-cutting technology begins to appear on the verge of extinction. However, under the call of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation”, the state and government departments began to cooperate with vocational and technical schools to train successors for the inheritance of these intangible cultural heritage skills in the form of joint operation. In the cultural industry park of XX district of China, various handicraft training, such as paper cutting, cloth pasting, leather making, sugar painting, knitting, etc., were carried out, and the craft inheritance was carried out by using the apprentice system. In addition, product incubation space is also constructed, which can give priority to competent students to take up employment. In this way, innovative ideas and apprenticeships are combined with intangible cultural heritage, laying a solid foundation for the commercialization of intangible cultural heritage. Ⅲ. Conclusion
To sum up, as an important historical crystallization and witness of human historical and cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage not only reflects profound national spirit and cultural value, but also shows the history of struggle of ancient ancestors. At the same time, it is also an important link connecting the emotions of each nation and an important basis for the harmonious development of the country. The protection of China’s intangible cultural heritage is also of great significance to the realization of the scientific outlook on development and the improvement of social economic level.
