霍尔果斯经济开发区是2010年5月中央新疆工作座谈会后设立的一个国家级开发区,是新疆自治区的派出机构,承担经济改革试验田的重任,也行使行政管理的权力。霍尔果斯经济开发区班子成员包括党工委书记、委员和管委会主任、副主任、主任助理等,目前班子成员约20名,其中近三分之二来自中央机关部委、对口援建的江苏苏州和连云港以及浙江等省的挂职干部。而按照“小政府、大服务”原则重新设置的管委会内设职能部门
The Horgos Economic Development Zone is a state-level development zone set up after the Central Xinjiang Work Forum in May 2010. It is a dispatched institution in Xinjiang Autonomous Region that undertakes the important task of economic reform and also exercises the power of administration.
