Tamm-Horsfall Glycoprotein (THG or TH glycoprotein) is a kidney-specific protein produced by Heinz & apos; s ascending branch and distal Golgi epithelial Golgi apparatus. A small amount of normal THG excreted in the urine, normal daily urinary excretion of about 50mg. The determination of urinary THG helps to observe the extent of the lesions in the kidneys, especially the tubules. To observe the impact of neonatal asphyxia and other diseases on renal function, we used radioimmunoassay of 114 cases of neonatal urinary tract THG, the report is as follows. Materials and Methods 54 full-term newborns (age 1-7 days, body weight 2500-4000g). Neonatal asphyxia 40 cases (age 1 to 10 days, Apgar score 1 to 7 minutes). Pneumonia, intracranial hemorrhage and other diseases in 20 cases. Keep fresh urine, 4 ℃ preservation, fully mixed before the determination. Healthy freshmen
