三支点索道是选择山地三个突起高点来设置立柱(安装在机器一边的叫主立柱,其它两个叫山上立柱),通过立柱上的滑轮安装四根索绳,如图1。这四根索绳的长度,分别由各自的卷筒来调节操作,从而使安装在这四根索结点上的跑车,在这三根立柱所建立的三角区域内,可以自由地移动,达到使采伐木垂直吊起进行集材的目的。按照这种方法、即使是非皆伐作业,也可不损伤保留木及不破坏地表进行集材作业。
The three-point cableway is to select the three high spots in the mountain to set up the column (the main column installed on the side of the machine, the other two is the column on the hill), and the four cable ropes are installed through the pulleys on the column, as shown in Figure 1. The lengths of these four ropes are each adjusted by their respective drum so that the sports car mounted on these four ropes can be freely moved in the triangular area established by the three uprights Logs are lifted vertically for the purpose of skidding. According to this method, even non-clear cutting operations can be performed without damaging the reserved wood and without damaging the surface.
