“早熟豌豆”具有成熟早、植株矮、結莢密、籽粒大等优良性状,由中国农业科学院蔬菜研究所和北京市农科所从外地引进以后,引起了大家的重視。我們从1963年把它引到河北省新城县試种,幷于1965年在乔刘樊公社崔中旺生产大队种了80多亩样板田,深受群众欢迎。据調查,这是与当地栽培豌豆的現状和輪作換茬方式有密切关系的。引进“早熟豌豆”为当地提高复种指数,由两年三熟过渡到两年四熟找到了适宜的方式,
Early maturing pea has the characteristics of early maturity, short plant, dense pod and large grain.
