The scalable coherent interface (SCI) is an IEEE standard whose basic topology is ringlet, a kind of buffer insertion ,ring. SCI ring allows more than one message transfer concurrentlywhich brings difficulty on modeling SCI ring analytically. This paper presents an analytic expression on mean transfer delay using M/G/1 queuing model with non-preemptive priority. A preliminary performance study is also presented.;;;
