大学英语教学不仅是语言教学,也是文化教学。本文分析了语言和文化的关系以及由中英文化导致的汉英之间的巨大差异,提出了大英文化教学的重要性。强调教师既要加强语言知识教学,又要注意文化知识的导入,以提高学生的语言应用和交际能力。并从教学内容、教学方法、教学原则几个方面探讨了大学英语文化教学模式。
College English teaching is not only a language teaching, but also a cultural teaching. This article analyzes the relationship between language and culture, as well as the huge differences between Chinese and English caused by the Sino-British culture, and puts forward the importance of the teaching of English culture. It is emphasized that teachers should not only strengthen the teaching of language knowledge, but also pay attention to the introduction of cultural knowledge in order to improve students’ language application and communicative competence. And from the teaching content, teaching methods, teaching principles of several aspects of college English culture and teaching mode.
