低廉的租金、低成本的劳动力、高素质的人口是企业愿意在孟买、班加罗尔等印度城市建立外包中心的原因所在。然而近日,来自美国的Like.com宣布关闭其在印度的研发中心,因为其发现,一些印度高水平工程师的薪资已上涨到接近美国的水平。那么,这对于正在与印度竞争的中国软件与信息服务外包产业来说,是否是喜讯?另据IDC一项研究预测,到2011年,中国城市将超越印度城市成为全球外包配送业务的首选目的地。IDC将这归于中国在有利于外包业务领域的投资,其中包括基础设施开发、技术培训及互联网连接方面成效显著。然而对于中国来说是否真有如此前景,业内人士观点不一。
Low rents, low-cost workforces, and high-caliber populations are reasons why businesses are willing to set up outsourcing centers in Indian cities such as Mumbai and Bangalore. However, Like.com recently announced that it has closed its R & D center in India because it found that the salary of some high-level Indian engineers has risen to nearly the level of the United States. So is this good news for China’s software and information service outsourcing industry that is competing with India? According to a study by IDC, by 2011, Chinese cities will surpass India’s cities as the preferred destination for the global outsourced distribution business . IDC attributes this to China’s investment in pro-business areas that include significant infrastructure development, technical training and Internet connectivity. However, for China is really so promising, the industry point of view.
