新蕾出版社出版的《作文通讯》第10期有一则关于『新蕾杯』第二届全国中学生作文大赛征文启事。在四个供选择的题目中,有一题目为『我心目中的偶像』,让学生写出心中最崇拜的偶像。我认为这个题目欠妥,可能是编辑没有弄清『偶像』一词的本意。我愿在此与之商榷。《现代汉语词典》对偶像一词解释为:用木头、泥土等雕塑的供迷信的人 Xinlei Publishing House published “Composition Communication” No. 10 has a << Xinlei Cup >> second national secondary school composition contest solicitations. Among the four alternative topics, one is entitled “Idol in My Heart” and allow students to write down the most admired idols in their hearts. I think this problem is defective, probably because the editor did not understand the meaning of “idol”. I would like to discuss here. The Modern Chinese Dictionary explains the word idol as a superstitious person who sculpts of wood, clay, etc.
