Objective To observe the synergistic effect of soy isoflavones and vitamin C and vitamin E on blood insulin and C - peptide release and blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2 DM). Methods A total of 114 patients with T2DM who were eligible for the study were randomly divided into non-intervention group (B), low-dose group (C), middle-dose group (D) and high-dose group (E) Control (group A). Blood glucose, insulin and C - peptide levels were measured at 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours postprandial glucose load test in fasting and oral administration of 100 g steamed bread, blood insulin / C - peptide and blood glucose Level. Results The level of blood insulin and C - peptide, the area under the blood glucose curve and the blood glucose level after OGTT were significantly different from those in group A (P <0.01). The area under curve of blood insulin in group E and group B was significantly different (P <0 05). Changes in blood glucose: Compared with the normal control group, the peak time of blood glucose in each group was delayed (2 hours) and retreated slowly. There was a significant difference between the added value of blood glucose in group D and group E and group B and C (P <0.05). Conclusion The combination of medium and high doses of anti-oxidants can improve the area under the curve of blood insulin and the postprandial blood glucose level after T2DM. Due to the dose-effect relationship, it is recommended from the perspective of preventive medicine that the medium dose group (composed of 150 mg soy isoflavones and 500 mg VC, 400 IUVE) be used as a secondary control of blood glucose in T2 DM patients to protect the residual islet function and prevent AS Symptoms for the purpose of appropriate intake
