In the first half of the twentieth century, the Guangdong painting circles, “Lingnan School of Painting” and “Guangdong National Painting Research Society” were the main trends of the two main types of painting that were always courteous and blending with each other. No matter emerge in an innovative way or show people in a traditional style, they are basically separated from two parties. By the second half of the 20th century, however, this pattern was apparently replaced by a diversified painting orientation.
