朱熹与唐仲友都是南宋初年著名学者，宋孝宗淳熙年间，二人同时在浙东为官，朱熹是唐仲友的顶头上司之一。由于种种原因，二人之间发生了激烈的冲突，结果唐仲友名声扫地，朱熹亦辞官归里。这一事件，不但关系到二人的命运，而且关系到南宋中后期政治与学术的走向，直接开启了庆元党禁的先河。本文综理群书，简明扼要地分析、描述了事件的起因、经过和影响，并对其间的是非曲直略作评判。
