西方美术史的翻译研究属于深层次的文化交流,其重要性不亚于西方美术技法的引进。改革开放以来,国内对西方美术史的翻译研究从零散通识进入了系统深入的可喜状态。但由于观念的差异和语言的障碍,导致西方美术史的引进速度较慢、难度大。国内对于西方美术史的翻译研究,也多是译者从翻译理论与实践的角度出发在翻译理论、翻译技巧和方法上进行讨论。美术史学科学习研究者对翻译之于美术史研究认识的深度还不足,很少有学习研究者能够系统全面地将对西方美术史相关文本专著的翻译与西方美术史文本的研究联系在一起,以对翻译文本的检视为出口诊断当下西方美术史相关文本的问题研究。在这样一个国内外研究状况之下,本课题从美术史学科角度出发,针对改革开放以来的西方美术史翻译进行系统地分析,努力找到美术史研究对外文翻译的要求及其存在的诸多问题,并给当下西方美术史的翻译研究提出意见。
The study of the translation of western art history belongs to deep-seated cultural exchange, which is no less important than the introduction of western art techniques. Since the reform and opening up, the domestic research on the translation of western art history has entered a state of gratifying state of affairs from scattered general knowledge. However, due to differences in concepts and language barriers, the introduction of western art history is slow and difficult. Domestic translation studies of the history of Western art, but also mostly translators from the perspective of translation theory and practice of translation theory, translation techniques and methods for discussion. There is still not enough depth for researchers in art history to understand the translation of art history research. Few study researchers can systematically and comprehensively link the translation of the related text monographs in western art history with the study of western art history texts. Taking the view of the translated text as a research on the problems of diagnosing the related texts of western art history at the moment. Under such a research situation at home and abroad, from the perspective of art history, this subject systematically analyzes the translation of western art history since the reform and opening up and tries its best to find out the requirements and existing problems of art history research on foreign language translation. He also gives his opinions on the translation studies of western art history.
