Ltd, he takes another important job as the founder and speaker of the Alliance Responding to EU Antidumping Investigation Against Chinese Shoes. On behalf of the alliance he answers all the inquiry and communicates with the outside. When the alliance was established on February 8, 2006, it only had 8 members. Except Chuangxin, the other 7 members were all Guangdong enterprises which EU wanted to investigate. But out of their expectation of Wu and other founders, about 180 shoe makers vied with each other in joining the alliance within 20 days after its founding in order to jointly respond to EU antidumping investigation. So far, the alliance becomes the largest and purest civil organization to deal with antidumping conflicts. Its founding is quite late and it is not the best choice either. It was already 8 months passed when EU began the antidumping investigation. According to EU stipulations of antidumping investigation, EU may start to levy antidumping duties after 9 months of investigation. Within the 8 months Chinese shoe makers didn't sit idle and, on the contrast, many enterprises made their individual efforts. About 200 enterprises responded to the investigation. This number almost covers all the enterprises which have capabilities of responding to the investigation. This is a great progress for Chinese manufacturers in dealing with overseas antidumping misfortune. (see p26)
