1984年11月,我接到了区人大常委会的任命书,出任北京市门头沟区教育局长。我认识到这是党和人民对自己的信任和重托。我倍感自己肩上的担子更重了。我暗暗地下了决心,绝不辜负党的多年教育和培养,一定要充分发挥自己的主观能动性,发扬拚搏精神,努力做个合格的教育局长,为推动门头沟区教育事业的发展作出应有的贡献。在区委和区政府的领导下,我紧紧依靠局领导班子和全局机关干部,紧紧依靠全区教职员工,努力奋斗,开拓进取,许多困扰教育事业发展和改革的问题在不同程度上都有所解决。在短短的时间里,教育工作就出现了新局面。工作的实践,使我深深地体会到:
