校训:博健百年老校、江苏名校宜兴市实验小学创办于1903年,是首批省实验小学、省模范小学,曾获全国学校艺术教育先进单位、全国红旗大队及省教科研先进集体、省现代教育示范学校等多项殊荣。学校始终高举“自主创造教育”旗帜,遵循“以人为本、创新为本、发展为本”原则,实施“名师支撑、科研兴校、质量取胜”策略,坚定不移地走内涵与外延互动发展之路,已形成了一个本部、两所分校、两所附属幼儿园的办学集团化新格局。目前小学132个班,6500余名学生;幼儿园23个班850余名幼儿。正在筹建实小新校区,计划2011年建成,届时师生员工总数将突破万人。
