Contemporary German novelist Patrick Gaskin does not win by quantity, but every piece of his novels such as “Perfume”, “Pigeon” and “Mr. Xia” have been carefully considered and given serious meaning, full of modern Poetic and philosophical thinking. He introduced the absurd structure and the symbolic brushwork of Kafka’s novels into an extremely in-depth interpretation and promotion to the extremely dangerous state of fright, fear and situation inherent in modern people. The theme of his novels is as the existentialist Kierkegaard describes it: “Life is a black allegory.”
