In 2003, China paid about 6 billion U.S. dollars for the rise of energy prices. Authorities believe that energy has become one of the most important national security issues in our country. The threat of a cut off of energy supplies will greatly limit China’s security and development. China must develop an integrated system to ensure energy security. In addition, China’s greenhouse gas emissions are also very worrying. The air in both cities and villages is seriously polluted, causing more and more people to get lung cancer. Therefore, energy and environment have become the main body that affects the survival of our country and even of all mankind. The impact of the development of automotive technology on the environment and energy is extremely important. The combination of a variety of high-tech and the rise of electric vehicles is triggering a revolution in the world automotive industry, showing a bright future for the automotive industry. After more than a decade of technical tracking, project establishment and demonstration operation of electric vehicles in Beijing, Beijing has become the largest city in the production, promotion and application of electric vehicles. Perhaps in the near future, electric vehicles will become the pillar industries to revitalize Beijing and even China’s automobile industry. Beijing promised to have 1,000 electric cars traveling in Beijing during the Olympic Games. It is understood that the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission set up an electric vehicle industrial base already has an annual output of 1,000 electric buses capacity.
