博物馆文创产业与“历史”息息相关,随着对“历史”这一概念理解程度的深入,博物馆文创产业对“历史”的运用也将慢慢从简单文学创作与模仿为手段,以娱乐、教育公众为目的的初级阶段向以观众的智识水平提高为追求目标,以观众对民族、历史的认同感等情绪为评价标杆的更高阶段发展。然而,博物馆文创产业并不是单一的产业,结合博物馆展览、社区力量,勇于吸纳新技术,都有利于博物馆文创产业与“历史”的进一步融合和发展。
