Over a period of time, major coal mine accidents in various parts of the country occurred frequently. In Chongqing, major incidents such as Nanchuan “1.16 ” mine accident, Fengjie “3.17 ” mine accident, Hechuan “4.5 ” mine disaster and so on occurred in January of this year. The wrecking mines have caused tremendous losses to the lives and property of the people and have caused great harm to the stability and social harmony.
