1 节水是北京经济社会发展的永续主题 连续4年的干旱,使北京市水资源紧缺的矛盾更加突出,节水已成为缓解首都水资源紧缺状况的一项重要措施。北京作为一个国际化的大都市,节水不仅是缓解水资源紧缺的关键性措施,而且也是经济社会全面进步的重要标志。只有对宝贵的水资源实行高效利用,水利才能为全面建设小康社会提供重要条件,才能为首都经济社会可持续发展提供有力支撑。
1 Water Conservation is a Sustainable Theme of Economic and Social Development in Beijing Four consecutive years of drought have made the contradiction between water shortage in Beijing more prominent. Water conservation has become an important measure to ease the shortage of water resources in the capital. As an international metropolis, water conservation is not only a key measure to ease the shortage of water resources, but also an important symbol of all-round economic and social progress. Only by implementing efficient use of precious water resources can water conservancy provide an important condition for building an overall well-to-do society in order to provide a strong support for the sustainable economic and social development in the capital.
