郑绪岚是20世纪80年代中国歌坛的重要符号之一,她演唱的《太阳岛上》《牧羊曲》《大海啊,故乡》《年轻的朋友来相会》《妈妈留给我一首歌》《鼓浪屿之波》等歌曲风靡一时,留下了一个时代鲜明的印记。她清亮甜美的声音、温婉细腻的表演令无数人倾倒。1987年,她被评为全国十名最受欢迎的歌唱家之一。1989年,她演唱的《太阳岛上》获得中国首届金唱片奖。然而,郑绪岚的生活并非像《太阳岛上》的歌词所说的那样充满了阳光,实际上她的人生非常坎坷,其中有一段比较灰暗的经历,用她自己的话说,
Zheng Xulan was one of the most important symbols of the Chinese pop music scene in the 1980s. She sang “Sun Island”, “Shepherd’s Song”, “The Sea, Hometown,” “Young Friends Meet,” “Mom Leave Me a Song.” Gulangyu waves “and other songs all the rage, leaving a distinctive mark of the times. Her clear sweet voice, gentle and delicate show dumped countless people. In 1987, she was named one of the country’s ten most popular singers. In 1989, she sang ”Sun Island“ won the first gold award in China. However, the life of Zheng Xu-lan is not as full of sunshine as the lyrics of ”Sun Island". In fact, she has a very rough life. There is a rather gloomy experience in her own words.
