Frose & Sullivan of the United States recently released a market forecast report for test and measurement devices in Europe and the United States. It is reported that the world market turnover increased from 2.8 billion U.S. dollars in 1980 to 3.2 billion U.S. dollars in 1981, reaching 5.6 billion U.S. dollars in 1985, and more than 7.9 billion U.S. dollars in 1990. At the same time, the U.S. market increased from 1.8 billion U.S. dollars to 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, and in 1990 it will reach 4.6 billion U.S. dollars. From 1980 to 1985, the average annual growth rate of the entire market was 15%, but 14 of them had the highest growth rate of about 18 to 55%. The largest impact on the world market is the use of micro-processors for test equipment.
