《中华人民共和国种子法》(以下简称《种子法》)及相关法规的颁布实施,使广大农民的法制意识明显增强,农业行政执法部门会同公安、工商、技术监督等单位查处种子违法案件的力度明显加大,较好地维护了广大种植者的利益,确保了种子市场的健康、有序、稳定发展。杭州市萧山区农业局2003年6月依据《种子法》,成功调节一起大豆种子案件就充分说明了这一点。
