探讨幻奇派小说理论的发展轨迹、幻奇派艺术方法的审美特征及成熟标志等理论问题。我国古代“幻奇派”小说理论始于汉魏 ,经过唐宋理论家的努力 ,至明清小说创作进入高峰期 ,幻奇派小说理论才随之走向成熟。我国古代以奇幻夸诞为中心的幻奇派艺术方法 ,主要有三个明显的特征 ,即幻拟性、奇异性和寄托性 ;这些显著特征 ,决定幻奇派小说作品必然以表现理想、抒发激情为主 ,而“幻中有真”、“极幻极真”以及“说谎亦须说得圆”等理论命题的提出 ,则是对幻奇派小说的主观性与写实派小说的客观性既相互对立又相互渗透的肯定 ,同时也是幻奇派小说理论走向成熟的标志
