本研究通过一项实验对中美大学生类比写作模型进行了比较,结果表明:中美大学生的相同点是:(1) 写文章总是以先呈现的课文( 即基础范围) 作为主要信息源;(2) 课文结构类似时写作文章比较容易。不同点是:(1) 美国大学生的文章单一谓项(predicate) 出现较多,而中国大学生的文章中单一谓项较少;(2) 美国大学生采用类似材料时,文章质量较低,采用不类似材料时,文章质量较高;而中国大学生的语言质量与材料的类似性没有关系,所有文章的语言质量都比较差。英语对于中国大学生是第二语言,认知负担过重和语言基本功不过硬是造成差异的根本原因。
In this study, an experiment was conducted to compare the analogy writing models of Chinese and American college students. The results show that: The similarities between Chinese and American college students are as follows: (1) Writing articles always take the first presented text (ie the basic scope) as the main source of information; (2) It is easier to write essay if the structure of the text is similar. The differences are as follows: (1) There are many single predicates in American college students ’articles, but only a single predicate is found in Chinese college students’ articles. (2) When American college students use similar materials, the article quality is low, Similar materials, the higher quality of the article; and Chinese students of the language quality and material similarity has nothing to do, all the articles of the language quality is relatively poor. English is a second language for college students in China. Cognitive overburdens and language basic skills are the root causes of the differences.
