This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the CPPCC. Two grand celebrations and two 50th birthdays have erected towering monuments in the history of China’s development in the past century and elevated the banner of socialism in the history of mankind in the 20th century. The great cause of modernization pioneered by the Chinese nation under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party is being comprehensively pushed to a brand new 21st century. 50 years of trials and hardships, 50 years of brilliant performance, 50 years of ups and downs, merged into a colorful magnificent picture. Looking back on the past, persistent reality, looking forward to the future, every sons and daughters of China will have endless testimonials. From the sixth issue of the magazine will provide “50 Christmas Imagination” column, that the two 50 anniversary of a little memorial. It will focus on the “People’s Republic of China”, “I and the CPPCC” as the center to publicize the new achievements and new experiences in reform, opening up and development since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in recent 20 years and to publicize the CPPCC organizations at all levels in Jiangsu, CPPCC
