笔者一生喜爱园林与盆景两种姊妹艺术,它们在我生活中,宛若熊掌与鱼,只恨自身精力不济,无法兼习。但平时总注意从报刊杂志上剪集盆景图片,供业余观赏品析并在每件作品下端,用自己的审美感情和审美能力,写上一则评语。笔者感到在纭纭盆景作品中,尽管创新口号喊得震天撼地的响,可真正具有中国时代特征的盆景佳作——艺术形象脱离陈旧并能深深印在人们记忆中的作品,如《秋思》、《八骏图》、《风在吼》、《刘松年笔意》、《飞雪迎春到》、《两岸同根话回归》、《疏林秀水》等用大写意手法创作的时代艺术作品,尚为数不多。因此,当见到《中国花卉盆景》1998年3期彩页之右上角刊出的《松林清趣》后,禁不住击案叫绝!笔者一向偏爱赵庆泉先生所创作的具有浓郁时代感的盆景佳构。尤其是赵先生的作品中的地形、地貌、地物处理,一石一水,一土一草,不丰不杀,不拘一格,不露斧斤,不落窠臼,纯朴自然,妙趣横生。赵先生创作的一些写意盆景,可说精鹜八极,心游万仞,从不受时空限制,而是以其娴熟高超的艺术手法,任意驰聘胸臆。
