Not Dark Yet is a family history written by Australian Australian editorial board Professor David Walker, a famous Australian historian. Standing at the height of history, this book shows the tremendous changes in Australian society over the past century from the past of one’s own family. It is a rare and good book for Chinese readers to understand the history of Australia. In this book, David Walker describes the experiences of five generations of the Walker family in South Australia from the 1850s. Based on photographs, stories and historical documents, he reproduces the ancestors’ pioneering and creating images on this vast and desolate land. It reflects the major themes of Australian culture: enterprising, curiosity, sense of responsibility, self-improvement and perseverance Untidy spirit. The author wrote the book after his eyes were almost blind and became “legal blind”, but he portrays the family’s characters in a humorous and humorous manner. The book is like a song “bright line”, melodic crisp firm, rhythmic rhythm, through a piece of darkness, the reader brought to the bright sunshine of distant land ...... My famous writer Tie Ning so commented on this book: “Real light is by no means never dark time.David Walker inner light, courage, faith and optimistic resilience, enough for him to illuminate a family history, illuminate a nation, . ”From this issue, we will reprint some wonderful chapters of“ The Bright Line ”, which is published in the third chapter of the book“ A Burra Puzzle. ”
