高校开展国防教育是培养大学生国防意识、提高综合素质的基本形式,是高校培养“四有”新人的有效措施,是加强国防后备力量建设的重要举措。当代大学生肩负着保卫祖国、建设祖国、振兴中华的光荣使命。在和平环境中的他们,认为“军事与自己无关,战争离我们很远”等观念盛行。高校在国防教育实施中的种种弊端,导致大学生国防观念淡薄、国防知识缺乏,切实反映目前大学生国防教育的现状,所以对大学生国防教育的改革创新势在必行。
Developing national defense education in colleges and universities is a basic form of cultivating college students’ awareness of national defense and improving their overall quality. It is an effective measure for colleges and universities to train newcomers to the “four in possession.” It is an important measure to strengthen the building of national defense reserve forces. Contemporary college students shoulder the glorious mission of defending the motherland, building the motherland and revitalizing China. In a peaceful environment, they think that “the military has nothing to do with ourselves, the war is far away from us” and other concepts prevail. The drawbacks of colleges and universities in the implementation of national defense education have led to the underdeveloped concept of national defense and the lack of national defense knowledge, which effectively reflect the current situation of national defense education for undergraduates. Therefore, it is imperative to carry out the reform and innovation of national defense education for undergraduates.
