1965年12月21日联合国大会第2106A号决议通过《消除一切形式种族歧视国际公约》,1966年3月7日开放供各国签署,1969年1月4日生效。截至2001年11月20日,缔约国为160个。中国政府于1981年12月29日交存加入书,并对《公约》第22条,即关于争端解决方式的规定提出保留。《公约》于1982年1月28日对中国生效。
December 21, 1965 The UN General Assembly Resolution 2106A adopted the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. It was open for signing by all States on March 7, 1966 and entered into force on January 4, 1969. As of 20 November 2001, the number of States parties was 160. The Chinese government deposited its instrument of accession on December 29, 1981, and expressed its reservation on article 22 of the Covenant, that is, on the settlement of disputes. The Convention entered into force for China on January 28, 1982.
