大雪枣是沂蒙山区特有珍稀无性系种质资源,属极晚熟特大果鲜食佳品,成熟期大致在霜降至立冬之间,枣果耐贮运,平均单果重35g,最大80g,果面光滑,着色鲜红艳丽,果肉翠绿色,质地甜脆。该品种与野生酸枣嫁接表现出极强的适应性、抗逆性及早果丰产特性,春季嫁接当年即开花结果,2年投产,3年丰产,并具有二次枝发育健壮充实,刺股抽生枣吊能力强,结果枣吊长,适于控冠、整形、修剪和密植栽培等突出特点。现已在省内外试栽推广约2800公顷。
